Work Arrangement: Onsite

Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Actuary Consultant (ACAS/FCAS) to support actuarial analysis, pricing, reserving, risk evaluation, and predictive modeling initiatives within a Property & Casualty insurance environment.

This role will provide critical insights that support business strategy, financial planning, product development, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has strong P&C insurance experience, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex actuarial findings into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform actuarial analysis related to pricing, reserving, risk assessment, and profitability.

Develop predictive models and analytical solutions to support business decision-making.

Evaluate financial risk across Property & Casualty insurance portfolios.

Support rate development, pricing strategies, and product performance analysis.

Conduct actuarial modeling using statistical and mathematical techniques.

Analyze large datasets using Python, SQL, and other analytical tools.

Support regulatory filings and compliance initiatives.

Partner with business leaders to provide data-driven recommendations and insights.

Prepare reports, presentations, and actuarial findings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Support strategic initiatives focused on portfolio performance, growth, and risk management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

ACAS or FCAS designation (or equivalent actuarial credential).

7+ years of actuarial experience within the insurance industry.

Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience.

Strong knowledge of actuarial, statistical, and mathematical methodologies.

Experience with pricing, reserving, and risk analysis.

Proficiency with Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools.

Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Experience supporting fact-based business decision-making through data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Personal Lines insurance experience.

Department of Insurance (DOI) filing experience.

Rate filing and regulatory compliance experience.

General Insurance actuarial experience.

Experience with predictive modeling and advanced analytics.

Experience supporting enterprise insurance transformation initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $60/hour
